Members of these Partnerships are already part of the world's largest grouping of independent logistics professionals – the WCA Family which has 2625member offices in more than 150 countries.

The WCA Family requires the highest standards in all aspects of business and sets strict criteria regarding financial security, professionalism and quality which must be satisfied before new companies are admitted. All partners are required to adhere to a Code of Business Practice which encourages high operational standards and conduct.

The partners within both, the WCA Chemical and the WCA DGR alliances all have dedicated, licensed, certified employees fully conversant in the special handling of these movements and all can provide a professional and secure service for all types of hazardous and dangerous cargo –

toxic substances, gases, liquids, rural and industrial chemicals, pesticides, flammable liquids and solids, reactive and corrosive substances, etc

– all termed internationally to be significant risk to health, safety, property or the environment.

In addition several partners provide special facilities for the transportation of hazardous biological substances and biochemicals.  All members provide the right selection of vehicle or mode of transport, compliant placarding, loading / unloading / stowage supervision – and have emergency procedures in place.

Our members have special relationships within the transport industry ensuring a reliable and trouble free service guaranteeing time-definite procedures.  In most countries our partners arrange priority freight and document cut-off times with the carriers and are able to provide extended booking windows with a solid carrier-recovery commitment in controlled environments.  Health and Safety is always a priority.

Our membership can provide a full range of services including dedicated resources, whether for air or for ocean movement, expert industry-compliant packing, protection from extremes of temperature, full refrigeration facilities as well as temperature-controlled environments and full climate control to meet both active and passive temperature needs.  Services such as environmentally controlled containers, dry ice and battery changes together with active shipment monitoring are readily available throughout the network.

Other special services address supply chain challenges of the beverage industry - wine growers and spirits distillers, exporters, importers, wholesalers and retailers worldwide.   We have partners in all major beverage-producing, importing and exporting regions to provide on-site expert logistics support.

All partners within the WCA Chemical Partnership are fully conversant with the necessary compliance and relevant shipment regulations for these commodities.
